Features: The material is a Ibanez man-made material called luthite, which is easier to shape than wood, therefore this bass has lots of comfort if you play it standing up or sitting down.It has 24 frets, and the fretboard is as every other ibanez, very fast and thin. It’s a 4 string bass, ine came with new strings I think D’Addario. It has 4 controls, 2 volumes(1 general), and 2 tones. Mine has active electronics, but they say some Edc700’s are also passive. It has the stock pickups, and the finish is a “deep shiny purple”. The style is incredible, you can’t beat the looks.
This bass is made for popping and slaping because of the ridge height. The neck is very thin which allows you to move faster than the fretboard, and its the best bass i’ve played, though i haven’t played a lot of them. Mine came without flaws
The sound i think is not so so great but is a 9, i have tested it only on my practice amp a Ibanez 10 watt amp, so maybe this amp doesn’t make the sound surface.
This bass is ultra durable, why? It’s made of luthite which is very very resistent, and also, it isn’t affected by climate. The controls and straplocks are very hard, and it doesn’t needs to be aadjusted if you take care of it like of any other instrument.
